BOILER FEATURES
 
 Furnace & Convection Bank


The  FWT Boiler has a Generous Furnace Volume and Radiant Heating resulting in better Combustion and lower Furnace Temperature.

The Convection bank is made from 63.5 mm tubes which enhances the scale buildup resistance of the boiler making the FWT Boiler a rugged Boiler.

 
  Boiler Drums


The FWT Boiler is also equipped with bigger drums and offers the following advantages :

  • More stable water level in the Boiler.
  • More stable pressure in the Boiler.
  • More accessibility for Maintenance.

More water content in the Boiler makes it rugged for operation specially suited for Palm Oil Mills.

 
 Drum Internals


The Steam Drum of the FWT Boiler is fitted with Baffle plates used to control the swelling in the drum. It is also provided with three stages of steam & water separation.

  • Primary Vertical Cyclones Separations.
  • Secondary Corrugated Scrubbers.
  • Tertiary Demister Pads.

The result is 99.5% dryness of steam that protects the superheater and the Turbine.

 
  It Can Be Fitted with Any Combustion System


The FWT Boiler can be fitted with any of the following Fuel Burning System Design by OKUTECH with fully Automatic Combustion System.

SPREADER STOKER SYSTEM FOR FIBROUS OR LUMPY FUEL

  • Stationary Air-cooled Herringbone Grate with Manual Ash Removal.
  • Air-cooled or Water-cooled Stationary Pinhole Grate with Manual or Semi-Automatic Intermittent Ash Removal.
  • Water-cooled Vibrating Grate for Automatic & Continuous Ash Discharge.
  • Water / Air-Cooled Reciprocating Grate automatic deashing.

MASS BURNING SYSTEM FOR VARIOUS FUELS

  • Underfeed Stoker System for burning wet granular materials with low ash content such as Sawdust. Manual Ash Removal.
  • Belt or chain Conveyor Feeder with Flat Pinhole Grate for long bulky fuels such as Wood Off-cuts.
  • Stationary inclined Water / Air-cooled Pinhole Grate with Reciprocating Foot Grate for wet fibrous fuels and rice Husk. Continuous Ash Discharge.
  • Water / Air-cooled Reciprocating Grate for burning difficult fuels. Continuous Ash Discharge.

SUSPENSION BURNING SYSTEM FOR DRY & FINE MATERIALS

  • Suspension feeding combined with other grates is good for burning fine dry powder in suspension such as Sander Dust.
